NDIS Household task we Provide

If you have a disability, then performing even a normal household task feels like climbing a mountain. For this reason, the NDIS offers assistance to those in need. We are one of those registered with the NDIS to provide assistance in this situation.

We are a registered NDIS service provider in Perth that delivers all kinds of support to NDIS participants and their families to make their lives a bit more convenient. And among those services, one is called the NDIS household tasks.

We segregated household tasks into mainly three subcategories, such as,

  • Maintenance and cleanliness of the house
  • Linen and laundry services
  • House and lawn services

These three services have different activities and tasks that we assist our clients with.

1. Maintenance and cleanliness of the house

In this way, our support worker will help participants with the maintenance and cleanliness of the house. Because many participants want to be self-sufficient but, due to their disability, have no option but to abandon their plans, which is no longer the case, we are here to assist.

Some of the ways in which we can lend a hand are as follows:

  • Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
  • Cleaning the benchtops
  • Cleaning the refrigerator
  • Washing of dishes
  • Washing and drying laundry
  • Food shopping
  • Meals and cooking

Our support staff will make sure that your place stays just the way you like it, so you do not have to worry about it and you can direct your focus on some more productive work. They are well-versed in the subject matter and know just what to do.

Our support staff will not just help you with the different household tasks; they will also teach you how you can complete these tasks just by yourself if you want. You need to keep in mind that this will take a lot of time and effort from you if you want to do it by yourself.

Our support worker will provide you with full cooperation on every single step of your life so that you can live in peace and enjoy your time with your family and loved ones.

2. Linen and laundry services

We have separated this task from the other tasks because, a lot of the time, clients might not have laundry in their space, so our support worker might have to do their laundry from outside.

In this service, we include tasks such as,

  • Sheets and towels
  • Blanket covers
  • Pillows
  • Blankets for mattresses
  • Heating blankets
  • Towel mats
  • Plastic sheets for beds

Our staff will pick up your laundry from your doorstep, and after cleaning it, they will deliver it back to your doorstep as well. And can also assist you in making your bed properly after they are cleaned.

3. House and lawn services

This service differs from the other two because to complete those types of tasks requires a different skill set, and for that reason, different personnel are required to deliver this service.

Tasks that house and lawn services involve,

  • Cutting grass
  • Clearing weeds
  • Clipping hedging
  • Clearing the sidewalks

With your NDIS funding, you can avail of this service if you are unable to maintain your lawn, foyer, and backyard for yourself. So your house can look good from the outside too, which was not happening because of the disability.
